"Levinson-Majors" Synopsis

Location: Memphis

Victor Majors, a brilliant violinist, has returned home to his grandmother’s house in Memphis during Christmas to announce his retirement at the age of thirty-five.  His grandmother, Inky Levinson, is a prominent figure in Memphis because she, her other grandson, Erskine, and her son-in-law, William Majors, own Levinson-Majors Department Store.  After it was discovered that Victor was a child prodigy his mother, Clarissa, divorced William and took Victor to London where she began managing his amazing career.  While the family tries to figure out how to handle Victor’s visit, Clarissa arrives to take Victor back to London.  Resentment and actions from the past surface again for both Levinsons and Majors.
